Park Kids

These kids have needed to get out of the house. They've needed air. Fresh air. Caden needed to run. To be loud. The sun came out and out we went. Two days of park time.

Here's the Princess getting her fingers in the sand.

Swinging and refusing to let go of her candy cane wrapper.

Caden swinging with such delight.

Probably her 3rd candy cane of the day.

Bathroom in progress

I got a rare treat of getting out to a mall recently with a friend and our little girls. We went into Pottery Barn Kids and I saw these towels I've been eyeing in the catalog. Well, they are finally phasing them out so they are on a BIG sale for PBK!! I picked up the 2 striped body towels and the frog hand towel.

Unfortunately, most of the line is selling out quick online. I asked around and surprisingly found a friend who was going to the mall and could check her PBK for the other frog hand towel. Her store had it!! It's in the mail on the way here : ) Then, last night we were at another nice mall and I saw PBK and just had to take a peek. I saw the elephant and hippo towels...the elephant towel was the last one! I grabbed them and 1 striped hand towel. Such a great deal for cute towels. I switched out the green bath rugs from my bathroom to the kid's bathroom so it's coming along quite nicely! Next...Paint!

Christmas Morning

He had so much fun the day before, I had to wake him up to come join us for Christmas Morning!

Madison figuring out how to unwrap her gifts.

My favorite picture of the moment!

So excited to see what was wrapped up in each gift!

Seeing the joy and excitement on my kids faces is one of the best ways to warm my heart. Caden just loved Christmas & Madison was just taking it all in.

Christmas Time

When family is around, the holidays are so much more joyous. We were so blessed to have a lot of our family come join us for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Thank you Lord for bringing us all together this Holiday Season and allowing our hearts to be warmed by all the laughter and good memories made.

Some yummy treats

We had all our family over for Christmas Eve "Lunner", so Steven could enjoy some Christmas festivities before heading off to his night shifts. It was fun to have everyone over and just enjoy each other's company. We love making memories and seeing the delight on the kids faces as they take in all the attention! Here are just some of the goodies I made...things got busy so we didn't get any other pics of the all the yumminess. We had a ham which was easy to cook!, mashed potatoes, carrot ring casserole, green bean casserole, homemade mac n cheese, rolls, deviled eggs, spinach dip, tamales, lots of cookies, cheesecake and pumpkin pie!! YUM!

Our Christmas Card

It sure is interesting trying to get a picture of all of us actually looking at the camera let alone smiling! We did a mini photo shoot on Thanksgiving. Big thanks to Uncle Michael for being the photographer!! Here's our pic that made the cut for our cards this year!

Christmas Tree time!

They make pretty cute ornaments!

Growing faster than ever!

Our sweet kids!

We headed to Bourdet's Christmas tree farm in Hollister for a flocked tree. Our friends, Dustin & Rita, came with us to get their tree as well, so we headed home with 2 trees in the back of our truck. Caden fell running through the rows of trees so was pretty grumpy for most of the tree search.
